How to Transfer Item w/o PO-SO

We have multi-company set up - one for each country. All the companies
trades in same items. All these days the items from one company to another
ware transferred by SO and other company was receiving it by PO. The
problem with this is that the item receipt date in the new company is date
of PO receipt, where as the item is actually lot more older from
corporate point of view . Hence in Inventory aging report it shows wrong
dates (new PO receipt dates). For them it is just transfer from one sister
company to another. Any idea how this could be achieved.

I'm assuming you are talking about the "last receipt date" field? I had to write a RPG to correct this field because of "bin location transfers". Example similar to yours: I have a part in inventory on 1/1/02, then six months later I change (inv transfer) bin locations. The new bin location does NOT have a last receipt date now. We use this field for some inventory analysis so now I've lost some good info until the part is received again. I had to write the RPG to look at parts w/o this date and go back to F4311 to see when it was last received (in that warehouse) and re-fill the field. Problem solved!
