Hello all,
I'm looking to compile a document on the upgrade process for SQL 2000 to SQL 2005 simular to the one I did on AS/400 to SQL Server conversions: http://download.microsoft.com/download/8/6/7/867A7D31-5AAA-4C09-9DD7-E802459A0696/migrating_from_iseries_to_sql_server.pdf
I've done the upgrade for some 8.11 clients. Initially it was extremely painful as we they were victims of the fast forward cursor issue but the Microsoft hotfixes pretty much resolve our problems. I'd would like to get some feedback from people who've done it on other releases as well.
Please respond with your version, tools release, overall satisfaction with the upgrade, and any gotcha's you ran into with a process and how you resolve them.
