Field Needed In Cust Mast for Custom Use

I have a general question for a specific use.
Specific use - We use the sales order system to send product to customers. Sometimes we RMA material back in. We need a field to indicate the # of days after shipment, per customer for WARRANTY of the product.
General - I'm probably going to assign one of the customer master category codes as the # of days.

I was wondering if there is already a field somewhere in the customer or address book which is numeric and would lend itself for this usage.

(we already have a program to issue credits based on returns - I'll need to use this new field to judge if the return has been within the warranty period.)

Hi there... based on your description... you may use one of the fields under
the EDI tab under the Customer Master...there is an alphanumeric field and a
numeric field... these are no longer used in OneWorld... so it might work
out. thanks, Bobby
