Hi, First time posting here and I'm trying to follow all the rules for how to ask a question.
JDE E1 9.0 Tools 9.1.0
I have applied an ESU and not able to install the new package when launching the fat client. When I "check" it and then select the package it then times out for about a min and then the fat client comes up. It won't start the Oracle installer. This is on a Windows 7 x64 SP1 desktop.
On a Windows XP machine with this software installed by the previous JDE person previously here (no longer around) everything works fine and the Oracle one time installer comes up and applies the package with no issues.
I feel like I may have missed something during the install of the fat client on to my computer. I have followed online tutorials on installing the fat client and it seems to run fine. I do get a popup after the fat client loads saying "Windows cannot find '..\..\..\JDK\bin\java'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again". Maybe this has something to do with it?
Can someone point me in the right direction so I can figure this out?
