External Messaging, Outlook and Citrix

I have set up external messaging with Outlook on our FAT clients. Our FAT clients generate Outlook messages for OMW and UBE processes with no problems. We are now looking to move messaging out to users of our Citrix client. I have reviewed the JDE Knowledge Garden documents (such as ott-02-0032), but can not get the external messaging process to work on the Citrix machine.

In general, what steps are required to process external messaging through Citrix?

Have you installed Outlook client on the Citrix box? Have you configured its
mail account?

Yes. The question there is what mail profile you use in the Citrix jde.ini?

Specifically what problem(s) are you having?

Are you getting an error message from within the JDE Work Centre when you try and send external mail saying that a profile has not been created?

Nothing. No error, but the message does not show up in Outlook, either...

We automated MAPI configuration on Citrix with a third party program and a VBS logon script. It is not the pretiest by is a first pass while we are piloting the software.

We downloaded the MAPIGEN program from http://www.slipstick.com/exs/olroam.htm and placed it into the C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 on each terminal server (This program requires the .NET framework).

We then created the attached VBS logon script to automatically create the email profile on Citrix and map it into the user's JDE.INI.
