External Mails on JDE

Lately we have configured JDE.INI to send external mails. What happened is that if we send mails from JDE to our internal mail server, everything works fine. But if we send to Hotmail for example, the mail isn't sent.
Is there anything else that should be done through JDE ??

Kindly find the Email Config. in JDE.INI

Mail Server Rule: 90|OPT|MAILSERVER=mailsvr.abc.com.lb
SAW E-Mail Sender: 100|DEFAULT|[email protected]
Sender E-Mail: 110|DEFAULT|[email protected]
Rule4: 120|DEFAULT|[email protected]
Rule5: 130|OPT|MERGELOCAL=1
Rule6: 140|OPT|UPDATELOCAL=0
Rule7: 150|OPT|UPDATELOCAL=0
SMTP Server: mailsvr.abc.com.lb

Please assist!

Have you configured your SMTP server to allow relaying from whichever machine is generating the email (the enterprise server(s)?

We have enabled it on the mail server.
should it be enabled on JDE servers??

As a test to check your SMTP server is configured correctly, from your PC, try using Telnet on port 25 (which is the normal port number for SMTP) to see if you can send an email to a Hotmail account.

Let me know if you need sample instructions for testing SMTP.
