Equipment Status

Hi Lists,
Client issues work orders to maintain the equipments. However, they use these work order for record purposes but not for planning, scheduling, costing or others.
Now the request is to update the equipment status (EQST) from AV to SB or whatever by WM status (SRST). Does anyone have the idea how to do it ? Thanks for any information !

There is not a vanilla way that I am aware of to update the actual equipment status within the Asset Master.

The Work Order Activity rules can drive the Equipment PM status changes when a WM work order status is changed, but not the actual Asset Master record status.
