EDI and address book

Back from a months' holiday and straight into the deep....

We are trying to create address book records through the EDI process. We have been successful in populating F0101Z2 and F03012Z1 through the interactive application and in running the batch jobs to populate address book and customer master.
However when attempting to run R47002C, which theoretically should convert a flat text file into F0101Z2, we are receiving the error message 'Invalid File Name'. I am pretty sure the flat file cross references in F47002 are correctly set up as we don't have any problems converting type 850 (customer PO) records.
Has anybody attempted to use this process for address book records? Is it supported by JDE (the target file does not start with F47 and the first field name is not EDTY (Record type))? If this does work, what record type should be used (1,2 or 6)?
Are there any alternatives (I guess we could always write a Table conversion UBE)?

Thanks in advance for any comments/advice

We have uploaded address book records a few times when we brought our
overseas subs onto OneWorld. Instead of using the flat file convertor, we
loaded directly into F0101Z2 and F03012Z1 from Access. We entered 1 record
into these tables by adding it in OneWorld. This gave us all the fields
which needed to be populated. We then ran queries to populate the tables.
The batch load programs do all the editing, so there is no chance of putting
bad data into the address book tables. It worked pretty well for us, but it
was only a one off situation (ie we didn't need to repeat it on a regular
basis).
