E811 SP1:Successful changing password, but unable to connect to securiity server

Hi,

i 've got the problem, changing passwords (view/user options) and get the error message : SEC000007 - unable to connect to security server'. The password will be changed. The Security Kernel Log shows nothing. Have anyone any idea?

I'm running into the same problem with both full clients and the web client. I have already opened a case on this and they are recommending I apply ESU JJ10615 which addresses this issue. I have not been able to apply it yet because of another issue I'm working on being able to run the ESU application in the planner environment - I'm close to resolution though. Good luck.
 
I ran into the same problem - support recommended ESU JJ10615. I'm in the process of building a package now to see if it fixes the issue.
 
Just an update - the JJ10615 ESU seemed to fix the security message problem for me on the full client.
