duplicated inventory issues

hello all,
we have discovered duplicated entries in F4111, not in the sense of having the same ukid, but in the sense that a shipment confirmation leads to two records in f4111 when there should be one. The twor records have insertion times very close (within seconds). it is random and happened very few times (5 orders out of 30000).
Anybody has found a similar problem?

Hi There!

This has been a problem at some of our sites as well until we turned off the asynchronous processing in P4312 and P4205 (asynchronous process - the receipt / ship confirm is processed in the background after user presses OK)
Turning off the asynch process will force the app to finish the receipt process (P4312) or the ship confirm (P4205) before releasing the screen. This could be a problem for the users if they are receiving/ship confirming large numbers of lines in one go but it sure did put an end to the "double ledger record" - issues we were experiencing.

To turn the asynchronous process off is a matter of de-selecting a tickbox in the ER-code of the application, where the EndDoc master business functions are used (The developer would know which Business fuctions need to be changed)
