We have incremented our number of licenses with JDE. We have reset the SPC code on the server with P98SRV. We also have done this with some workstations.
A JDE support person told us that we could create a package with the new SPC code files and distrubute these to the workstations. This way we avoid running P98SRV on every workstation.
I've found how to include Features in a package in the "OneWorld Package Management" guide. I assume I need to distribute these files as a feature.
Has anyone distributed security files in a package to avoid having to run P98SRV on every workstation to reset the SPC code for the workstation? Is there a document for this, or can someone tell me what to distribute?
Thanks in advance.
P.S. We *did* have to apply ESU JD12367 to get the revision number for the clients to be correct (6 instead of 5 for SP20) to accept the new Authorization code. This is working fine now.
