DD Creation Error

Hi All..

While I'm creating a DD item named DQTYBOX by copying UORG,Im getting the error which i am sending as an attachment.If anyone could help me out in solving the issue,i would be thankful to them.

The Class field is blank. Enter a value in it (eg "QTYINV").

Please, be more specific.

Q1.) What is your release, SP level, operating system, db type, etc.?
Q2.) What kind of error do you get?
- first of all, what is it literally?
- is it a OW error, which appears in the status bar, upper side of the form?
- is it a OW error, which appears in a message box?
- is it an operating system error?
Q3.) What is in your jde.log immediatelly after you got the error?

Peter is 100% correct. You must have a class type in the field and in your example it is blank. Not sure how it got that way when you did the copy but if you are want it to be the same as UORG you must put in QTYINV. Angelis

I just noticed, that there is an attachment to the post.

Keep the attributes of UORG as it is for the copied new DD item.
