I have a customized solution for controling stocks using barcode and I am not satisfied with it. I hear about dcLINK and would like to know who uses it and if can tell me something about it.

We our satisfied with it and have been using it since mid 2005. We use it in two departments for Inventory Issues, Returns, Cycle Counts, Inventory Inquiries, Printing bar code labels, and Receiving POs. All the Inventory is managed in EnterpriseOne E811 SP1. We are currently using the CK31C units. A separate windows server manages the communication. DSI wrote our initial scripts but you have access to the source on the server for any modifications.

The current company I work for and the last company both use DSI. It's very easy to use and the people in the mill really like it. For us, it's been very stable and has become just as important as JDE itself.

Altquark said it perfectly though... you should check out the websites and/or talk to the sales reps at a regional conference.

I agree with Diane--important to check out vendors and their customers
pretty thoroughly. I have heard good things about RFGen -- www.RFGen.com.

In the interest of full disclosure, they are a paid advertiser at

My name is Andy Klee, and I support this message.
