Date appears blank thru web

This is an annoying problem!

On our P4210 we are showing the F4211.RLDJ date on the Customer Service Enquiry screen.

On the Fat Client it is working as desired, but through our web portal the date appears blank (when has a value on the F4211).

This is only happening in our DV environment, we deployed the same object to PY web and it was fine. The Sales Order detail screen, also on the P4210, shows the date with no problems.

My first thought was user overrides, but having deleted them and even tried a completely new username (with no overrides) and the date was still blank.

Six months ago we activated the F4211 Edit Line Pre-process to populate this date with a default value, perhaps this is related to our problem in some way.

Any ideas?

Thats weird. If it is in the table it should be showing up in customer service inquiry. The editLinePreProc shouldn't effect that.

If it works in higher environments, trying doing a get from one of those environments on all objects involved including the BV. Also check the DD and any BSFNs attached to the DD item.

Thanks, your 'BV' comment helped. It turns out that a modified business view had not been generated for the web.

We generated it and voila - there is the date.
