I am currently leading a research project (The Influence of Individual-Level Cultural Orientation on ERP System Adoption) being conducted jointly by DePaul University Chicago’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business and the College of Commerce. The final result of the study should aid in the production and design of better ERP systems able to be rolled out across multi-cultural user environments.
My own experience has been programming and installing ERP systems in Japan and Thailand for the last three years and would like to know your ideas regarding cultural factors that affect the use of ERP systems.
