Credit Hold - Credit checking

I have just started processing orders through JD Edwards and I have an issue with credit holds.

I have set up three credit hold types and assigned them to customers. What I am attempting to do is provide a hold for customers over 61 days and/or beyond there credit limit.

All orders are being placed on hold when the order is accepted.

Is there a document out there to explain this process?

Thanks,

John B

Did you put the order holds on the order hold field in the Customer Master?
If you do... then that's why you are getting those results... what you would
need to do is set up your A/R program that checks credit limits to run at
night (or whenever) to recalculate and put orders on hold after someone has
gone on hold after 61 days... this can put a credit hold message on that
particular customer so they go on credit hold, but not everyone else.
thanks, Bobby

John,
Look at the processing options for you version of
order entry. You may have specified that all orders
need to go on hold. How do you have your customer
billing instructions setup? How have you defined your
order hold in the system? The first place to look for
help is in the Sales Management manual. There is a
section on hool processing. You can also search the
KG for more information.

There is a white paper explaining the way to hold an order during order entry (credit checking). You will need to activate workflow utilities, define credit manager etc...

To put afterwards an SO on hold regarding the 61 days we had to run a nice SQL script, someone know a JDE batch ?
