E9.1 Creating a Sales Order for DocType SA Generating an Error

We have a branch plant where we can create a sales order for doctype SO, but when we try to create a sales order for doctype SA we get the "Business Unit Number Invalid" error. We can create sales orders for doctype SA in all of our other branch plants. Thank you in advance for any help. We are using JDE 9.1.

Please check the preference setup if defined at Processing option which doesn't allow for SA or Check the pricing setup against Order type SA.

Thank you for the reply. Processing Options for which program? We do not use any pricing for the parts. We just warehouse the parts for our customer.

Hello Michael - Processing Option of P4210, under preference tab , please check the Advance Preference schedule....is that is blocking .

Check the SA for the line you are using vs the SO and Line type that works. Maybe you have something w/ stock validation and SA hasn't and looks for a MCU validation only. Or check the P40040 setup by SO x SA.
