Create new Index on JDE

Hi all,

Posible my question is modestly but Idid not known yet.
In JDE aplication, whether we may make new index besides standard of JDE?
Is that posible new index interfering with existing application?
do application using that files have to be tested?

I want to make ad reporting on reading of F42119 (middling big table).
In order to qicken performance I mean to wish to make new index for f42119.

Pls your tips and assistant.

You can create new indexs in JDE but there are other options (like creating them in the Db and not in JDE) so it depends on what you need as to what is best. Would be good to have more info but you can do it no problem.

One thing is certain since you have not done this before it would be good to at least have someone on the ilne walk you through this since generating the table instead of just the indexs will blow away your data and fun things like that.
