Consolidated Planning

Does anyone use Consolidated Planning through R3483?

It wasn't working for us due to us being on update 2. However, we have applied a 'paper fix' to remove the bug and the planning now runs.
I am trying to find some documentation or someone who can clarify the logic used to create a consolidated plan!

My understanding goes back to WorldSoftware functionality so I cannot comment upon any nuances in OneWorld. However, "Simple Consolidation" creates the the F3411/12/13 for all the Branches in your Business and then just joins them all together as if they are one, new, B/P. This is appropriate if you have one Manufacturing site with several B/P. If you Consolidate to the 'Head Office' then you can do all your Planning from there as if it was one B/P. The system does not have any sophisticated rules about transferring stock between locations. You get no Transfer Orders. It assumes that all the stock, PO's, Fcst, SO's & WO's in all the B/P (in the Data Selection) are available/applicable to all.
