Hi,
We have multiple (Canadian) companies setup, all sharing a corporate tax ID; when we transfer an employee between two of these companies, their EI and CPP/QPP starts over again.
Without any discrimination in place, we think that Canadian companies should be able to use the Common Paymaster functionality (as any other company on the globe, say US).
Our issue got filed with SAR 6220320, whose current status is 05 - Returned-Reconsider in Future. Denver helped me translating this into "enhancement/development shall be considered IF/WHEN enough Canadian clients require it".
Currently EnCana and SNC-Lavalin ProFac (that's us) seem to be the only affected clients AND requiring this issue solved.
It is hard for me to believe that other Canadian companies using OneWorld's Payroll module, do NOT transfer employees between their companies, therefore, please, feel free adhere to our request (by contacting Denver), if you need Common Paymaster functionality.
