I am attempting to launch a batch job using 'runube' from the unix command line.
If I launch the UBE as the 'jde' unix user, all is well. If I try to do it as another user that is in the same group as 'jde' the call fails with the error:
runube: JDB_InitEnvOvr failed with rcode = 0
I did a unix ENV and made sure that all environment variables that exist for the jde user are present for the other user. The other user has the same permissions on the entire /b7333/ file structure that the jde user has. What else could I be missing? Is the jde user the only one who can launch jobs via runube?
For reference, the command I am attemping to use:
runube USER PASSWORD DV7333 R03010Z OMS001 QB7333 "Interactive" "Hold" "Save"
This command works for jde and not the other user.
