Hello There,
I'm currently working on a project where the amount of testing is growing to an extent, a manual approach is increasingly crazy.
So I've been browsing the net to find alternatives to Autopilot.
I've found solutions like:
* Macroscheduler
* CitraTest
* Winrunner/LoadRunner/Test Director
But they all have a scripting root that interacts with JDE through a bitmap mapping logic. Basically you'll push a lot of your effort in building these scripts, which will be hard to maintain.
This direction doesn't seem like a real plus.
Our problem with autopilot is we're on B7332 SP 11.3 and will move to Xe shortly (?) and thereby losing our testscripts.
--> The Questions:
1.) Do you know of alternatives for (integrated) testing tools ?
2.) Are there any other GUI driven scripting tools other than AutoPilot ?
Many thanks to all for any feedback,
Kind Regards,
Svend.
