Are the IR01 - IR05 fields used for anything in the EDI tables.

We are attempting to use the EDI functionality for importing customer PO's into Peoplesoft. We would like to pass additional (custom) data in as well (agreed upon by trading partner) and would like to use the SYIR01 - SYIR05 fields in table F47011 - EDI PO Header to hold this custom data. We run R47011 to import the EDI data into the Sales Order tables (which also have the IR01 - IR05 fields, but these particular fields do not get copied to the Sales Order tables. Does anyone know what Peoplesoft's intent is for these fields? Are they available for us to use or does Peoplesoft have future plans for them? We're trying not to step on vanilla functionality, and it seems they aren't being used, but we're not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We're on Peoplesoft EnterpriseOne 8.10.

We should not use IR01-05 which are reserved for Oracle future integration.
i just found this from Oracle support web site:

Final Disposition:
IR01-IR05 fields are not user reserved fields. These are
fields that have been designated for enhancement projects.
Some of the fields are currently being used in more current
releases of the software. It is not advised that clients
use any of these fields for custom coding and we cannot
support the request to add processing for IR01-IR05 to
R47011 or P4210 in the current release.
