About DCYR and CENTCHG

Dear all,

I would like to update my system expiry date from 31/12/2010 to somewhat 31/12/2060. I have read the old post that I should change the default value of DCYR and CENTCHG from 10 to 60, in this case. So, I change the DCYR to 60 and I found that CENTCHG has already change it to 60 automatically. Then I test it by inputting a purchasing price in P43090. I found that the expiry date become 31/12/2106 not 31/12/2060! I then change the default value of DCYR and CENTCHG back to 10. Then, I input the purchasing price in P43090 again, now the expiry date become 31/12/2101 not 31/12/2010! May anyone help me this issue. Thanks a lot!!!!

Regards,

It's been many years, so I am not longer 100% sure, but I am fairly sure that JDE World (at least A7.3) end of life, from the date standpoint (Oracle having its own plans from the Marketing perspective) is December 31, 2040. A7.3 will read 1/1/41 as January 1, 1941. This is simply the fix JDE implemented to accomodate years 2000 and above.

So try setting you dates to 2040, not 2060 and see if you have better results. It worked for me when I changed the dates from 2010 8 or so years ago.
