INSTALLATION: 8.11 sp1
Production TR: 8.96.1.2
Test TR: 8.98.3.1
Installed succesfully latest Planner ESU and Technical baseline ESU
I configured double foundation on deployment server as explained in Tool Release guide and installed a new enterprise server (windows 2008) with TR 8.98.3.1. I built succesfully a full package for client and new enterprise server for TR 8.98.3.1 (selecting foundation from package assemply application).
The problem happen when I try to deploy this full package to enterprise server configured with TR 8.98.3.1. On enterprise server log and deployment log SvrPkgBuild.log I find error
"PKGENG0016 ERROR: Failed to deploy server package" . It seems that enterprise server is unable to lock processes.
When I put online (under D:\PeopleSoft\E811) on deployment server Tr8.98.3.1 folders (system, systemcomp and OneWorld Client Install) and deployed full package, the deploy process went succesfully.
So my question is, has anyone try this configuration (double foundation) with EO 8.11 SP1? Is really supported backward compatibility for package process?
