1099 Magnetic Media

Document ID: OFN-00-0016 'How to Copy 1099 Data to Magnetic Media'

If I follow these instructions it is placing a CR/LF at the end of the
record in positions 751/752. This is incorrect for the format of the
magnetic media it should be in 749/750. I am looking for other suggestions
to create the magnetic media.

Dave, I noticed the same thing, but I went ahead and sent a test file to the IRS and they accepted it with no problems. So I'm not going to worry about it.
