We are currently in the process of going to Update 7.0 in JDE Xe and are finding UOM Conversion errors when entering Sales Orders and Purchase Orders.
The problem is that the new update posts an UOM Conversion error on the application whereas the previous version of Xe that we were using did not.
I was wondering what the repercussions might be in entering a "Dummy" Unit of Measure specifically from Standard to Weight/Volume for the rest of system. I.E. Since the new data (Extended Volume and Weight) will be inaccurate, what problems might this new data cause.
