Our latest episode with BIP has us creating an invoice (based on the R03B505 UBE). The invoice looks nice (even got our watermark on it); the lone hangup is on page borders. You can set up a page border using the Word BIP tool, but when you overlay your XML data, the Word page border is overwritten.
I went to Oracle support for assistance, but as someone mentioned in another of the BIP threads, there is a definite issue when support does not even have Office 2007 to test with.
That said (I am down off my soapbox now), has anyone found a way to create (jerryrig?) a page border? My closest shot to a workaround has been to use a transparent rectangular shape. When I first inserted it, it looked great for the first page, but did not show up on subsequent pages. I then moved my "for-each" command above the top of the rectangle. This makes the (faux) page border repeat for all invoices, but it looks a little east of funky. I am looking for a little more elegant workaround. Thanks.
