What if you setup the save location functionality. This would allow you to
save the object without checking it in.

In B7332 and earlier when you checked in a version, you used to have the
option of keeping it checked out. Does anyone know if this is still
possible in Xe? I have looked and can't find it anywhere.
OneWorld Xe Sp16_018, W2k, W2K TSE, SQL 2K on Compaq Proliant.
