Create!form Versions

There are no new versions to 3.2, only service packs

Service packs 10, 11, 20, 21, 23 and 24 (restricted) are available

Cform 3.2.21 is currently the standard version but you may need service pack 23 or 24 depending on a particular issue you may be encountering.

Create!form v3.2 is a major release. There are multiple (more than I can keep track of) minor releases to v3.2. I'm currently running CformDesigner v3.2.22.6362 and CformServer v3.2.23.7430.

I think when v3.2 was first released it was SP1 (service pack 1) which would have been represented by v3.2.10.xxxx ('xxxx' representing the build within a service pack). I have seen releases as high as v3.2.23.xxxx, not sure how much higher they go from there.

The next major release after v3.2 is v7.0 which only runs under the Transform 4.1 architecture.

Just some additional info on the 3.2 service packs.

There is also sp27, 28 and 29:
sp27 is a fix for autosizing media objects
sp28 is a fix for parens ")" showing up with a backslash
sp29 supports extended font characters (Polish)

Watch out for sp27 and 28. They fix some specific problems but break other functionality. The "wrap" and "keep paragraphs" functionality for variable data stopped working when I was given those releases to fix a problem I was having with auto-sizing sections.

Thanks for all your help with the versions. I have been hunting for some Release Notes for these versions. My objective is to see what new changes/features are included. Funny thing is Bottomline, parent company, is not maintaining any info on the release notes. Sales contact we have is not very helpful.

Anything you folks came across?
