What might be your problem here is you have the field IVMCU in file F4104
which can be blank. If your Business Unit Security (P00011) for your user is
not file specific, you can have this issue. What we have to do is assign the
user's Business Unit Security at file level (tedious) and include a From and
Thru value of *BLANKS. There are
several files in JDE where this can be an issue.

Hope this helps,

Rob Page.

The F4104 file includes a business unit field, which may or may not be used.
If it is, then the problem may be business unit security. WW recognizes
business unit security.

Business Unit security can secure someone from seeing the same records in a WW that another person sees.

Have you checked the WW field security file F9401?

Thank you Rob... I think this was the problem...
Now how can I assign a user's Business Unit Security at file level...???

Yes the CC field is blank. That's why the user cannot pick the records up

I create a new logical which excludes the cost centre field. That solves
the problem....

Thank you all for your response

Marsh,

An example could be;

BEFORE

File Name . . .Business Unit. . .
ID From Thru
10010 10099

AFTER

File Name . . .Business Unit. . .
ID From Thru
F4104 10010 10099
F4104 *BLANKS *BLANKS
F0101 10010 10099
F0006 10010 10099

etc etc..... That is why it is tedious because it's an either / or. You
either specify just the Business Units
for ALL files, or if you choose to specify the files, you have to specify
ALL the files the user needs access to
that use BU security,

Regards,

Rob Page.

Rob Page:

I decide to create a new logical which excludes IVMCU... Thanks for your
information though
