Import using Excel 2010

Hi List,

Some users at our office have installed Excel 2010 and have reported they are unable to import from Excel 2010 using the import functionality in JDE. When they give the cell range and click apply the excel does pop up however data does not import data into JDE.

We are able to use Excel 2003 & 2007. I checked the Oracle site and could not find any document that says if Excel 2010 is supported or not.

We are on Tools 8.98.1, has anyone else had success with Excel 2010.

I don't know if it would really matter, but have your 2010 users attempted to save in Compatibility mode (2003/2007)?

If you check note 705409.1 (MTR for 8.9 client) under the miscellaneous requirements section it states that MS Office 2010 is not supported until Tools Release 8.98.3.

But, we are on 8.98.2.4 and have a few users using Excel 2010 and I haven't heard of any problems yet.
