We are getting "withholding Tax" in the description column of the remittance advice instead of the description. The detail line is also printing halfway down the page with no other detail lines above. This only happens with the payment of foreign currency vouchered purchase orders. We have, as yet, not been able to replicate the problem in our test system - which was refreshed from our production system approximately 6 months ago. I have determined the report variable involved (R04572, Stub Detail section, report variable: RV ABALPH or KIVINV or KIRMK).
Back in 2002 in Xe, we experienced something similar - it involved the same report variable. I remember that I had discovered that "Backup Withholding" was hardcoded in a C business function. I can't remember the details and I am unable to locate any notes on the problem.

Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne,
E8.11sp1 8.96C1, ES Sun, Oracle DB 9207, Websphere 6 Win2K3.
