Slow application problem

Applications like OMW, FDA etc on a particular workstation are running very slow. any suggestions ?

Could be anything: slow disk? not enough memory?

cn you specify the version of one world, plateform, etc

Might want to check if the real-time virus scan is defined differently on the offending machine, namely the excludes.

If the PC is running Windows XP, ensure that System Restore is turned off.

As mentioned you need to check out the other suggestions that were put forward. If one PC is having a problem and others are not then your problem is isolated. We get these type of problems from time to time. If you analyse the PC for memory, disk space, Event log errors etc.. and you still have slowness try and uninstall\reinstall C++ (if you are doing development) and JDE. If that does not work rebuild the PC. If that does not work then your PC is probably too slow. My experience is that JDE fat clients work great with PIII and P4 PC's. Anything less and some functions run slow.

Check the debug logging settings?
