I was wondering if anyone knows anything about when Visual Stuidio .net is going to come in and when the expected date that Visual Studio 6 will be retired if at all.

I don't believe Visual Studio .net is supported by PSFT. In the 8.9 MTR's it says to install .net then downgrade to 6.
