We are contemplating doing that and would like to hear from all of you who made the jump before.

Thanks for all

SQL server and B7332

If done an upgrade from B7332 to ERP. It went quite smooth. Only a couple of objects and tables didn't merge. They were not of mayor importance and were addressed in the known errors list. Most of the errors are listed in the sarslist of the latest planner esu. Coupe of tips: Always apply the latest planner update esu to ERP8. That is: Install the deployment server CDs. Log in to the planner and log out again. Then extract the planner esu. Follow the instructions closely. Create your upgrade installation plan en execute the plan. Be sure to finish the plan correctly. Do not start the ESU-installation plan prior to succesful upgrade. After the upgrade execute the ESU-plan,otherwise package build might fail. Then build the package. You wil be ok.

Thanks Niels,

However, have there been a lot of change when it comes to maintenance and change in CNC?
How about the gap in functionalities? Any gotchas?

Hi,

Didn't find any mayor changes on the CNC side other than OMW. Another tip: If you receive a lot of Memory Violation errors when running applications in the ERP8 environments, delete ALL "GF" and "HC" User Overrides for those applications
