How do I email a PO #??

We would like OneWorld to send an email with the PO # to the originator of the requisition once Purchasing has run P43060 PO generation. We currently use the Buyer field to identify the originator. When an item is received this person gets an email letting them know their item has been received. I've been told the system can send this generated PO# via Outlook. Anyone know how to accomplish this???
