create/copy tables (any installers out there?)

we are just beginning a "net new" install of OneWorld xe. The Installation Planner Validation report is perfect.

While executing the workbenches in "attended" mode we were presented with an additional workbench task.

This task (create/copy system tables) was executing just fine for about two minutes and then ended unsuccessfully with a message on the grid in the bottom left hand corner saying "errors occurred". The program according to the grid is B9800400.

Below is the content of my jde.log.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Hi ,

JDE added some new tables that you have to generate which are now being used with service pack 20. Download and install ESU JD16698 and generate the tables (there are 5 to generate) in System - B7333 and in LOCAL. And don't forget to generate the OCM for those tables (Special Instructions.

I had the same problem this week-end.

Thanks Adrian. While reviewing the objects and the special instructions
(for this esu) I notice the reference to F90703 is a problem on the iseries
400, no mention of DB2.

Which platform were you having difficulty on last weekend (we are DB2/UDB)
with these files and was it during the additional workbench task
"create/copy system tables"?

Thank-You.

Michael

Hello.

When I apply ESU or SP then should I do all special instruction for all SARs included in ESU or SP? Standard documentation about SP installation doesn't tell about special instructions for SP.

Hi,
The word "special" has a ... special meaning; that is, it is NOT standard.
Therefore, on top of standard documentation, JDE instructs that you implement the special instructions; they are not negociable.
