Package Build Problem

Hi,

After applying Update 6 to JD7333, the 'Not checked into pathcode,
excluded from the build' message appears for a number of objects when
building a package for PD7333. The JD7333 package build completed
successfully. Has anyone experienced this same problem? How did you
resolve this issue? I have logged a call with JDE RL without any
success.

Many thanks in advance for your assistance.

Kind regards,

Gopal.

Gopal :

That's because Update6 installation creates a lot of new objects, an entry
is added to F9860 for every new object, and
F9861 records are also inserted but only for SIPATHCD='JD7333'.
When you try to build a full package for PD7333, package process scans F9860
and finds records that don't have their
corresponding match on F9861 because ASU wasn't installed on PD7333 yet.
These errors will solve after you promote or install Update 6 on PD7333.

Have you queried those objects to see if they are checked out in the PD path code?

Yes, tables F9861(object librarian) & F98222(system) for PD7333 have
been checked. Only those that we can account for are checked out, the
majority of those objects have no records.

Have you queried those objects to see if they are checked out in the PD
path code?

Thanks Sebastian, so should I ignore these errors and deploy the PD
package or should the F9860 table be fixed. I have checked the
F9861(object librarian) and F98222(system) tables and these look ok.
Your assistance will be appreciated. Kind regards, Gopal.
