BSFN mappings in \'J\' environments

Hi List,

We are experiencing problems with certain functions (P0411 mainly) and I
beleive it is connected to the BSFN mappings.

Would anyone runnin JAS be able to tell us where the B0400047 and B03B0011
BSFN functions are mapped to in the 'J' environments ?

I would have thought they should run on the enterprise or logic server but
one of them seems to be mapped LOCAL and the other on the server. There is a
paper on the KG that states that these two functions run asuynchronously and
must be mapped to the 'same place'.

I would be grateful of anyone could let me know where these functions are
mapped on your installations.

Thanks

Re: BSFN mappings in \'J\' environments

My current client supports between 1200 - 1600 Web users and they do not
have those BSFNs mapped individually. They have DEFAULT for BSFN mapped to
the "EnterpriseServer - Logic" data source.

Hope this helps.

Re: BSFN mappings in \'J\' environments

Andy,

Our BSFN's are'nt mapped individually either. My understanding is that JAS doesnt support local processing so I would expect problems if they were mapped LOCAL. We have had occasional problems where an application is set as "client only" function. Once changed to client and server, they ran ok. This may be a different issue though.
