Hi,
My requirement is a regarding workflow for item master and item/BP records creation.We need this functionality for creating MRO items where the spare parts by different machinery manufacturers are not part of the initial list of item master.Based on the demand from user , the item master / Item BP record needs to be created.We want a solution where the user will key in the request for creation of Item Master .A designated body (one or more) will first ensure that the item now requested is not present already in the list.For this he needs the details like specifications / make / model etc of the part.Subsequently , the designated person (s) will create the records and inform the user . Has anybody encountered such a requirement? How well does the JDE workflow JDEITMADD and JDEITMCHG fit in this process?
