Word Search Build R01BDWRD performance issue

We used R01BDWRD report to build word search table F01815. It used to take 1-2 hours on AS400 DB2. Now we move DB to Oracle, R01BDWRD will take 17 hours to run.
Is there anyone using Oracle DB at the back end have silimar performance issue? Please share.

When we rebuild the file each weekend, it takes 20+ hours to run. When we run nightly to update the files with the changes from that day, it takes 5 minutes.

Hi JDEMem,

Thank you so much for sharing. When you say ' update the file for the date changes nightly', do you use any 'data selection' or 'process option' to only pick the data changed that day? Or JDE will detect by itself to populate the data changed that day only. Your answer will be highly appreciated.

Sorry - didn't see your question until today.
On our daily version, we have data selection of Date Updated (F0101) (UPMJ) is equal to Date Today[SL], and we run this on our scheduler at 11:45pm.
On our weekend version, we use no data selection, so it rebuilds the entire table.
