Wildcards

We are in the process of upgrading to Apps & Tools 9.1. If I use an asterisk in the name field of the address book I get the error, "OPEN FIND ERROR". Has anyone else experienced this?

What you are seeing is Application Query Security. You can control by app/form what filter fields need to be populated in order to do a search. The idea is to stop users from submitting a wide open SELECT that would affect DB performance. This is setup like all other security in Security Workbench (P00950). I think this feature became available around 8.98 tools.
