When is a pick slip added to an order

Hello Thomas,

I would recommend you post this question in the JDEdwards EnterpriseOne Applications forum. This one (JDEdwards EnterpriseOne) is focused on hardware, software, databases... you will be more likely to get the answers you are looking for there.

However, I know enough about SO processing to say this:
1. The pickslip number is typically generated when a job is run to print pickslips. This job looks at the statuses of the lines and will process the lines that match its' criteria. The statuses are changed so that the next time the job is run, they will not be included a second time. The end result is a pdf document listing the orders and lines in such a way that a warehouse person can put the order together for shipping.
2. As I mentioned above, an order can have multiple pickslips if lines are at different statuses. The biggest examples would be lines that are backordered or lines that are added to the order after the pickslip job has run.
