what are the differences between item transfer and item reclassification?

I am new to JDE I see I can do the same activity from both p4114 and p4116 can someone please explain the differences.

Hello,

-- If you want to move inventory from one location or branch plant to another location or branch - we can use Inventory Transfers (P4113)
-- If you want to change characteristics of an item like Lot # or Location or Qty - we can use Inventory Reclassification (P4116)
