UTB in TSE

Is there any way for users not to use the UTB in the TSE?. I was under =
the impression that UTB was not allowed in TSE.Are there any settings in =
the ini file that need to be changed?. I checked in ini under DEBUG tab =
for the entry OWDEVELOPER and its not present.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Not sure about the ini but maybe you could create a custom menu for GH902 that does not include UTB. Make sure to secure any exits that may also go to UTB (not sure if there are any). We are a TSE environment and use menu security and no fast path to aviod this type of problem. Also, maybe the quickest solution would be to remove it from the system\bin32 directory...although I haven't tried this...it might freak the system out of someone tries to use it.

Try renaming the UTBrowse.exe under x:\b7\system\bin32 on your TS, so that
the user can?t call it.

You can secure any externally called application in
Security Workbench using the External Calls Exit
Button. It's a little tricky but should do the job.

Hello,

Starting with SP16, UTB is now supported on TSE. No need for INI changes or renaming the executable.
