Unaccounted Units/CTS* Display Decimals

Does anyone have experience (in R9.1?) of converting the Display Decimals for CTS1 - 9 Manufacturing Unaccounted Units/Amounts from 2 to 4. Did the accuracy of the Cost really change? Any hidden risks?

Haven't done it but make sure that:

1) You know the scope/impact of the change (4+ tables affected)
2) If you make the change you convert all the existing data
3) Immediately do a full package build and deploy

Are your transaction hours / amounts really that tiny that this will make a difference? .01 hours is not finite enough?
