UBE\'s hanging on Local PC

B733.2 SP 11.1, NT 4.0, SQL 7.0 SP2.

I have a problem with a few PC's where the UBE's hang when run locally. They
run fine on the server. I usually have to delete the pathcode on the
workstation and re-install. This will work for a while and eventually the
user will get the problem again. JDE support says that they are aware of the
problem but seem to have no fix available except re-copying the SPEC files
to the workstation. Has anyone come across this situation?

Please be advised that my email address is being transitioned from

Hi Crawford,
I've seen that happening only when the workstations were running:
- Win95/98/Me, OR
- Win NT4 but Service Pack# different from the Server.

How are you managing your DD and Global Specs? I like to keep full copies of all 6 files on the local workstation. This eliminates JITI and seems to help out with stability and UBE freezes.
