UBE to Excel

We have a request to automatically create Excel spreadsheets from the R41411 UBE. The R41411 runs in the scheduler every night and then the generated pdf files are transmitted to the users server. However he wants to receive the data in Excel format rather than pdf.

Anybody done this or have any idea how we do it - I know we could use the csv option but how do we automate that and then how do we make the Excel spreadsheet automatically.

You can go into RDA and under print options you can check the CVS output box. This will automatically create the *.CVS file along with the PDF output. I'm not sure what you mean by "how do we make the Excel spreadsheet automatically". The CVS file should open just like an Excel file.
