Types of Data selection

Please help me in differentiating the data selection either it is internal or external and why we make difference between them.

I haven't heard this terminology for different types of data selection before. You will need to expound on this so we understand what you are talking about.

If I understand:
Internal Data Selection - ER Code Data Selection
External Data Selection - Version Level Data Selection

We use Internal Data Selection for CONTROL. It is appended with bracketted syntax (if we chose). This way you can do all the complex DS Externally, and have the internal selection appended

Where (External DS) and (Internal DS).

I'm heads down on a debug, right now... do you need more clarity?

It sounds to me as Dan says: that external is controlled by the version and internal by the code itself.
